The unique shape of the Aqualube bearing gives it an excellent resistance to abrasion. This helps to reduce the wear on the bearing surfaces in environments where sand and other abrasive particles are held in suspension, as found in shallow water.
The bearing is designed to let these abrasive particles pass over its surface and into the grooves where it is flushed out by the water feed pressure. This system prevents the particles from getting embedded into the bearing surface and causing severe wear on the propeller shaft.
Aqualube water lubricated bearings have a Shore hardness of 70 +/- 3, and are suitable for operation in a temperature range of -13° F to 185° F (-25° C to 85° C). For temperatures... More info
Aqualube water lubricated bearings have a Shore hardness of 70 +/- 3, and are suitable for operation in a temperature range of -13° F to 185° F (-25° C to 85° C). For temperatures above 86° F (30° C) bearing to shaft clearances may need to be adjusted.
The load which can be carried by an Aqualube bearing is dependant upon the quality of the lubricating water, shaft tolerance, and deflection of the shaft. A normal working load of 36 psi (2.5 kgs/cm² is acceptable. For further details on loads and deflection, please contact Michigan Wheel.

Modeled from our popular Dyna-Quad pleasure series, this series provides smooth and efficient operation. The increased blade root thickness gives the Pac-Master series the extra durability for all commercial applications. Corrosion resistant CF3 Stainless Steel alloy is used to insure rugged, dependable operation. The Pac-Master keeps the work moving in the toughest conditions.
All Pac-Masters are available in select even diameters. Odd diameters and pitch combinations are also available upon requests.

Maxima
0.63 E.A.R. - 3-Blade - Diameter Range: 32"-50"
0.84 E.A.R. - 4-Blade - Diameter Range: 32"-50"
The heavy-duty blade thickness distribution that makes the Maxima the most durable commercial offering. The blade design is wider than the standard for applications that require maximum thrust, including moderate-speed crew supply, high horsepower applications and passenger boats requiring maximum thrust. The Maxima is available in 3 or 4 blade designs.

Dura-Quad
0.76 E.A.R. - Diameter range: 24" - 36"
The Dura-Quad is the choice for applications where more durability is desired and/or more blade area is required. The Dura-Quad series features the skewed and highly efficient blade design of the traditional Dyna-Quad series, with added blade thickness to optimize speed on high powered commercial applications, without sacrificing durability.

Dyna-Jet
0.56 E.A.R. - Diameter range: 9" - 46"
The three blade Dyna-Jet is a legend in the recreational boating community but actually performs extremely well in some commercial applications. The Dyna-Jet provides outstanding speed and performance for small crewboats, pilotboats, and other similar commercial craft needing to get to their destination quickly. Each Dyna-Jet propeller is carefully hand crafted and inspected to meet today's performance demands. When using NiBrAl material, a cupped trailing edge is available to maximize thrust and minimize vibration in highly loaded conditions.

Dyna-Quad
0.69 E.A.R. - Diameter range: 17" - 46"
Like the Dyna-Jet, the four blade Dyna-Quad is one of the most popular propellers in the world. The extra blade blade is advantageous for applications with increased thrust, constrained diameter, and/or noise and vibration concerns. The Dyna-Quad provides excellent performance, durability, and smoothness, making it a great choice for planing commercial boats.

DJ355
0.56 E.A.R. - Diameter range: 9" - 40"
For smaller commercial craft, the 3 blade DJ355 offers the best value for smooth, reliable, and quiet performance. This skewed, constant pitch, zero offset series meets the performance design criteria of a wide range of applications and is a good alternative to the Michigan Dyna-Jet.

DQ469
0.70 E.A.R. - Diameter range: 17" - 44"
The four blade DQ469 uses the same blade design as the DJ355. On commercial boats, the fourth blade provides additional thrust in diameter constrained applications and can help minimize noise and vibration. Like the DJ355, the DQ469 provides good value for smooth, reliable, and quiet performance and can be considered an alternative to the Michigan Dyna-Quad.

DQ486
0.86 E.A.R. - Diameter range: 17" - 44"
The 4 blade DQ486 comes into consideration when there is requirement for more blade area than offered by the DQ469, due to blade loading or diameter restiction. The increased skew helps minimize noise and vibration in situations with limited tip clearance, which is important attribute for commercial boat operators. The DQ486 can be considered an alternative to the Michigan DQX or the Federal HX-400.

Weedless
The A-C series is primarily for smaller air-cooled inboard engines. Diameters range from 6" to 10" with straight bores.
The W-C series offer heavier blades and a larger hub for water cooled engines. Diameters range from 6" to 10" with tapered bores.
The Weedless H-D series (heavy duty) is designed for maximum strength and durability in weed infested waters. It is designed to take on the heaviest of weeds. Diameters range from 10" to 16", with standard taper bores.
