The 4-blade Kaplan style propeller was designed for moving liquid in a duct with horizontal positioning. The propeller is commonly utilized by low head pumps and mixers positioned in a duct. The forward and reverse thrust should be equal.

Materials: 316L Stainless Steel, Bronze, Nibral, Cast Iron, and Aluminum. These are the most frequently ordered materials; other alloys are available on request.

Finish: Standard finish includes #40 grit, buffed, and Roto-dull; other finishes can be quoted.

Balance: All Michigan Wheel propellers are supplied statically balanced for vibration free performance.

Special Needs: Michigan Wheel has many years of history and experience in meeting the needs of industrial customers.

If we do not have a pattern or die to meet your needs, we can utilize our CAD/CAM and CNC pattern and propeller making capabilities to fulfill your needs.

Options:
1. Standard setscrew(s) or keyway provided with propellers.
2. Special bores such as splined and threaded are available upon request.
3. Enlarged hubs to accommodate larger bores available upon request.
